League of Legends - Patch Preview

Rumble Art Spotlight

Flamespitter: Rumble torches the area in front of him with his flamethrower dealing damage to all units in a cone for several seconds. While in the “Danger Zone,” this spell deals additional damage.
Scrap Shield: Rumble creates a shield blocking incoming damage for several seconds and granting a short duration speed boost. While in the “Danger Zone,” the shield’s strength and speed boost increase.
Electro-Harpoon: Rumble launches a projectile that deals magic damage and applies a stackable slow on the target. A second shot can be fired for no additional cost within several seconds. While in the “Danger Zone,” the damage and slow percentage is increased.
The Equalizer (Ultimate): Rumble calls down a line of rockets over the target location. Enemies in the scorched area take damage over time and are slowed.
Junkyard Titan (Passive): Rumble’s abilities generate heat. When Rumble is above 50 heat, he is in the “Danger Zone,” causing all his basic spells to have additional effects. When Rumble reaches 100 heat he overheats, silencing himself and causing his physical attacks to deal additional magic damage. Rumble loses heat over time.

Ive heard a few rumors of plans for reworking some older heroes. The reworks will include fiddlesticks and gangplank from what I've heard. I have heard nothing about the changes in mind for fiddle or even if there true. But Guinsoo posted on his twitter about some changes we can expect on gang plank. For one his ultimate will no longer be a stupid RNG nightmare. It will provide consistant damage over time and slowing. Parrrrley will have a shorter cool down but have lower base damage. And his Remove scurvy will heal for more at rank 1 and less at rank 5. Also a boost to his base movement speed, mana pool and damage on Grog Soaked blade.

Upcoming Patch Changes.

For this patch they seem to be continuing to give power back to Garen with an increase to his base movement speed and a boost of damage reduction to his courage ability. This will, sadly, not help the fact that Garen is one of the most boring champions to play ever.

In addition to Garen changes Caitlyn will also be having a bit of a redesign on her Yordle traps. The change is very badly worded and its hard to make out exactly what will happen to the ability. In the preview it says "We added an extra maximum Yordle Snap Trap to Caitlyn, which will improve her team utility presence, along with an attack speed boost to give her a little more ability to scale into late-game damage." Now i understand the attack speed increase but WTF is a "Maximum Yordle Snap Trap" and how does adding one make a hero better.

Finally Galio gets a buff. His ult is bigger. That is all. Sorry big fella maybe next week. :(

Why does Occult Suck So Much?

Occult Sucks and to be honest i have no idea why. You would think a AD mejai would be an easy sell. But for some reason is not as good as the AP counter part. I think its mostly because no one wants a 15% movement speed boost. The best way to improve Occult would be just to screw the movement speed and replace it with life steal, or armour penetration. That would be sweet and while we are on the topic or stacking items. Why is the tanking items bonus so much better then everyone Else's? 15% damage reduction. HOLY SHIT.

Why I think AP is under powered.

 When dealing with an AP hero's balance you have to look at each hero individually. A blanket statement like "ALL AP IS UNDER POWERED" May not be true for every hero, and figuring out which hero's are AP hero's and not hybrids can be a little tricky as well. So I'm just going to talking about something that all AP hero's will have to get around.

We all know the meta game right now is very tanky. Hero's like renekton, amumu, shen and rammus are shinning. The ability to soak tons of damage while doing medium damage allows them to beat you by enduring. So this means that AP hero's have to counter specific situations. For example, if I'm playing a traditional caster like ryze and i see a team full of hp stacker's. I will probably reach for a death chill. But the death chill is not as good of an item as its AD brother mandread razor. How about stacking straight AP? Well i guess that helps the damage but now your getting rofl stomped because your a glass cannon. That's just one situation, another issue i have to raise is the strength of magic resist items opposed to armour items. Lets ignore for now the token MR items like chalice and focus exclusively on B veil and force of nature. Now your a caster and you see a B veil. How do you counter it? Magic pen. Well that works for the static magic resist but not the passive spell block. And force of nature provides alot of HP regen and MR and even movement speed for the tank its a no brainer to take it. So this forced the caster to stack tons of magic pen just to compete against the enemy. Its annoying and hard to get around when playing AP and i hope it gets resolved considering there are not as many fun AD character then AP characters.

League of Legends - Lee Sin Art Spotlight

I dont like the look of this champion. Im more of a fan of the original design of him before he got scrapped and resurrection. Oh well what are you gonna do to compete with riots mountain of money from selling champion skins ;_;

Nocturne! The Eternal Kill steal.

After playing with League of Legends newest champion, Nocturne the Eternal Nightmare, I have come to a conclusion. AD assassins are boring, No matter how cool there ultimates are. Let me elaborate, the following is my experience with each AD assassin in the game (not that i left out Poppy, Katarina and Kassadin because building them AD is wrong and you should be punch.)

Xin Zhao:

Charge, Ult, Stab, Stab, Knock up. Battle Cry, Repeat. (AN ENEMY HAS BEEN SLAIN.)

Twisted Fate:
Destiny, Teleport. Pick a card, mess up and get blue card. (YOU HAVE BEEN SLAIN.)


Charge, Equilibrium strike, hiten style, ult. (AN ENEMY HAS BEEN SLAIN.)


Ult, Where did everyone go? (B and buy items and cry that your ult takes 45 seconds to land.)"


Ultimate Super Awesome ULTRA CHARGE Voooosh~, QWEQWE (50/50 Chance on you dying or acing them you feeling lucky punk?)


I tried to jungle with him once and i died to blue pill. I was so embarrassed that I never played him again. So mite b cool I wouldn't know.
